Itinerary

Upon landing at the Casablanca Airport, a warm greeting awaits from your guide driver, who will escort you to your hotel accommodation.

Enjoy a morning meal at your hotel before embarking on a tour of Casablanca's crown jewel, the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, which stands as Africa's largest and the world's seventh-largest mosque. Proceed to the regal city of Rabat, Morocco's administrative heart, to witness the grandeur of the Mechouar (the ramparts around the Royal Palace), the historic Oudayas Kasbah, and the stately Mausoleums of Mohammed V and Hassan II. Post-lunch in Rabat, your journey continues to Chefchaouen, passing through Ouazzan and the charming hamlets nestled in the Rif Mountains. Arrive in the picturesque town by afternoon and check into your Hotel/Riad.

After breakfast, delve into the enchanting blue streets of Chefchaouen, a town brimming with beauty at the base of the Rif Mountains. Next, set off towards Fes, pausing en route to explore the ancient Roman site of Volubilis, a celebrated UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the historic city of Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities with its captivating Medina encased by fortifications.

Dedicate this day to uncovering Fes (Fez), Morocco’s oldest imperial city, established in the 8th century by Moulay Idriss II. Your guided tour takes you through the UNESCO-listed old Medina, its maze-like alleys filled with bustling vendors and artisans. Visit the Bou Inania Madrasa, Al-Attarine Madrasa, Ennajarine Fountain, the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss, and the historic Al-Qarawiyyine University, the oldest continuously operating university in existence. Post-lunch, enjoy a panoramic view of Fes's Medina, followed by a brief visit to the newer “Fez Al-Jdid” district. Evening return to your Riad/Hotel.

Post-breakfast, traverse the scenic Middle Atlas Mountains and the famed Cedar forests, historically used by ancient civilizations for shipbuilding and crafts. The route includes stops in Ifrane, known for its alpine-style architecture, and Azrou, a quintessential Berber village. Continue through the Ziz Valley to Erfoud, and finally, Merzouga, where you'll embark on a camel ride across Erg Chebbi's sand dunes to witness a breathtaking sunset. The night in a desert camp features a traditional drum show and stargazing opportunities.

An early rise is recommended to catch the sunrise before camel trekking back for breakfast. The drive to Ouarzazate takes you through the marketplace of Rissani and the fossil-rich town of Erfoud within the Tafilalet oasis. By midday, you'll reach the towering Todra Gorges for a stroll amidst its 300-meter high canyon walls. Post-lunch, journey through the Dades and Rose Valleys, renowned for rose cultivation and the picturesque "road of a thousand Kasbahs." Overnight in a Riad in Ouarzazate.

Following breakfast, visit the iconic Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a 12th-century village and UNESCO World Heritage Site, which has also served as a backdrop for numerous films. Continue to Marrakech via the awe-inspiring High Atlas Mountains, enjoying lunch along the way, and arriving at your Marrakech accommodation by afternoon.

After breakfast, embark on a guided tour of Marrakech, the "southern pearl" of Morocco. Discover the Bahia and Badi Palaces, Saadian Tombs, and the Menara basin, along with other treasures. Savor lunch at a traditional restaurant before visiting the Koutoubia Mosque and the vibrant Djemaa el Fna market square, which transforms into a hub of activity at night with a variety of performers and delectable street food.

Enjoy a comfortable transfer to the airport for your departure.
